Management Level 5
Who is it for?
The NVQ level 5 is for you if you are a practicing manager and have a responsibility for substantial programmes of work and resources.
To achieve this qualification your role should include:
- providing leadership and direction for your teams and organisation
- a broad span of control, enabling you to proactively and creatively identifying and implement change to improve organisational performance.
- responsibility for making proposal for expenditure and for controlling budgets.
- ensuring an effective organisational approach to health and safety
- encouraging innovation and creativity
- lead and participate in high level meeting.
The management of information will play an important part in the way you analyse information to take critical decisions.
The qualification requires you to achieve 5 mandatory units and choose 4 optional units from a wide range of management functions.
