Who is it for?
The qualification is aimed at supervisors or first line managers who have clearly defined areas of responsibility.
This may include:
- Providing leadership and direction for your team
- Allocating and monitoring work within your area of responsibility
- Encouraging ideas to improve the performance of the team
- Ensuring the team work in a safe and healthy environment
- Creating and maintaining effective working relationships with managers, team members and colleagues
- Providing information and advice to the team and others
The qualification requires you to achieve 4 mandatory units and choose 3 optional units from a wide range of management functions.
