Learning and Development NVQ Level 4

Who is it for?

This qualification is for senior learning and development practitioners who deliver training programme within a variety of contexts, such as further education and higher education, and training providers.

The qualification requires candidates to demonstrate higher level of skills and knowledge, to be in a position to influence and respond to changes within the learning environment.

Independent consultants and trainers will also find this a useful qualification to have on their CV.

To achieve the qualification a will have specific responsibility for:

• Contributing to the learning within the organisation
• Identifying the learning needs of the organisation and of individuals
• Designing suitable learning programmes to meet the needs of the learners
• Managing the contribution of others people within the learning process
• Ensuring equality of opportunity in learning provision
• Responding to change
• Supporting learners.

This qualification also contains the Assessor award A1 and Internal verifier unit V1, suitable for those with a responsibility for quality assuring the assessment processes.

The qualification requires you to achieve 8 mandatory units and choose 4 optional units from a wide range of training functions.
