Direct Training and Support NVQ level 3

Who is it for?

The qualification is for training and development practitioners.

It will have particular relevance to tutors or trainers in further education, and training providers delivering vocational training linked to government funded programmes.

For anyone involved in the delivery of training, whether it is part of a role within an organisation or for those who are freelance trainers seeking to gain accreditation for their skills

To achieve the qualification a practitioner will have specific responsibility for

• Identifying and agreeing individual learning aims and programmes with the learner
• The design and development of training sessions
• Providing learning opportunities for groups and individuals, by using various training methods, and in a climate that promotes learning.
• Monitoring and reviewing progress with the learners

The qualification requires you to achieve 6 mandatory units and choose 3 optional units from a wide range of training functions.
